After working for more than ten years as a marketer at the respected Dutch companies PostNL and Douwe Egberts, I consciously chose a step that is closer to my heart. In the corporate world, I learned how to build a brand, how to earn trust, and how to inspire people to take action. I now use that experience for something that truly matters: curing every child with cancer, with the best possible quality of life.
A strong brand is not just about visibility, but about connection. It is about stories that resonate. About people who feel involved and want to contribute. I also strongly believe in data-driven work. By measuring results, supporting insights with data, and learning from them, we can make better decisions every time. For the Foundation, I improve communication every day by using donor data strategically for effective communication and by gaining insight into donors’ motivations and needs.
As a connector and true team player, I believe we can achieve more together. I gain a great deal of energy from working every day with passionate colleagues, partners, and donors on our shared mission.
